JOB DESCRIPTION

Saline High School is a comprehensive high school serving approximately 1,500 students. Our dedicated team is seeking an engaging, innovative, and student-centered High School English/Language Arts Teacher to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum. The secondary English/Language Arts teacher is responsible for the instructional program and implementation of activities for students within Saline Area Schools.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS, WORK HAZARDS

Work in standard office and school building environments requiring mobility, visual and auditory acuity, communication skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, adaptability, technology proficiency, physical stamina, and environmental awareness.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs Teaching Assistant(s) / Paraeducators on a day-to-day basis.
