Woodland Meadows Elementary Paraeducator

 

 

 

Job Goal:
To assist teachers in providing instructional, behavioral, and/or custodial support and to help equip all students with the knowledge, proficiency, and personal skills necessary to succeed in an increasingly complex society.

 

This job requires individuals who are intrinsically motivated; have a deep desire to grow professionally; believe children deserve to learn in an environment that is the least restrictive and reflective of the highest level of cultural competence; possess a strong work ethic; are committed to providing children with boundless opportunities; and who understand that an appreciation for diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to the success of an paraeducator in the 21st Century.   

 

Reports to: 
Principal and cooperating teacher(s) to whom the paraeducator is assigned.

During the school year, employees will work approx. 8:25 AM - 3:55 PM (specific hours to be set by employer).  

 

Evaluation:
As defined by Board policy, administrative regulation, and the Educational Support Personnel Association collective bargaining agreement.
