Saline Area Schools Dean of Students

 

Position Purpose
The Dean of Students is a crucial role in maintaining a positive and respectful learning environment for all students and staff. They assist the principal and assistant principals with building operations, student supervision and student accountability, grades 6-8 at the Middle School. The Dean of Students promote the educational development and achievement of students in accordance with Board of Education policies, student code of conduct, administrative procedures, rules and regulations, and applicable law. 


Essential Functions

Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent and other central office administrators as designated by the Superintendent.

Equipment
Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines and telephone.

Travel Requirement
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
